The Bahrain 2025 New Year Drone Show was a grand spectacle designed to celebrate Bahrain’s rich cultural heritage, its rapid modernization, and its vision for the future. Utilizing 2000 drones, the show combined cutting-edge animation, intricate formations, and a compelling storyline to captivate audiences. The event featured a blend of historical, futuristic, and magical elements, seamlessly transitioning through different eras of Bahrain’s development.
Held in Manama, the show highlighted key national themes such as Bahrain’s tourism growth, architectural marvels, and the nation’s leadership milestones, creating a visually stunning and emotionally engaging experience for spectators.

Scope of Work
1. Concept Development & Storyboarding
- Ideation & Theme Selection: Defined a unique concept integrating Bahrain’s history, future vision, and magical storytelling elements.
- Formation Planning: Designed a structured sequence of drone formations, ensuring smooth visual transitions.
2. Drone Show Animation & Programming
- 3D & 2D Animation Development: Created dynamic 3D drone simulations using Blender, Cinema 4D and Magician.
- Formation Optimization: Ensured safe flight paths and minimal collision risks while maximizing visual impact.
3. Client Coordination & Approvals
- Conducted multiple client presentations, refining designs based on feedback.
- Secured approvals for key formations, including The Bahrain Skyline, mcleren F1 car, countdown, and New Year celebration text.
4. Show Execution & Rehearsals
- On-Site Testing: Verified drone synchronization and performance through trial runs.
- Final Show Execution: Delivered a flawless performance on New Year’s Eve, enhancing the event with fireworks integration and coordinated lighting effects.
